Mark has worked within the Fire Protection Industry for the past 24 years. Starting out as an apprentice, Mark gained qualifications as a Sprinkler Fitter and continued to develop professionally as a Project Manager and Fire System Designer. Mark founded Roar Fire in 2012 and as a Director, has seen the company grow in significance with offices located in Melbourne and Perth.
Mark is a leader in his field and proficient in all aspects of fire protection. Mark oversees all operations nationally.
Greg has 18 years’ experience within the Fire Protection Industry, commencing his career in 2002 as an apprentice sprinkler fitter in Victoria. Greg was awarded Apprentice of the Year, consecutively for three years and became a leading hand not long after he became fully qualified. Greg worked on the tools for three years in Do & Charge giving him further experience finding and rectifying faults.
After working for 12 months as a Project Manager in Victoria Greg relocated to Perth where he continued to hone his skills overseeing the installation and commissioning of various Gas and Water Misting Systems and Wet and Dry Fire Systems (specialising in Early Suppression Fast Response) to various projects across WA including Canning Vale Market upgrade, Gorgon Project, Warehouses and High Rise Towers.
Greg joined the team at Roar Fire in 2018, where he oversees all WA operations. In his role as Managing Director Greg covers all facets of sales, estimation, project management and client liaison in Western Australia.
Special Hazards Specialist, Design & Construct
David has an established and extensive career with over 30 years’ experience in Fire Protection Design, with sound understanding of Australian Standards, NFPA standards and FM Global. David completed his Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering in 1989 and has built a well-regarded reputation within the industry. David has over 20 years’ experience predominantly utilising AutoCAD in addition to Hyena and Ansul software.
David’s project management experience includes quoting, attending site meetings with builders, clients, consultants, architects and other services contractors and site supervision. He has designed Light Hazard, Ordinary Hazard and High Hazard systems, ESFR systems, Residential systems, Deluge & Pre-action Systems.

Matthew has 11 years within the Fire Protection Industry commencing his career in 2008. His qualifications in both Electrotechnology and extensive Fire System Experience together with the diverse management experience obtained throughout his career allow Matthew to assist in many capacities throughout the diverse services provided by the Company.
The diversification of skills, ranging from project management, fire systems installation, maintenance and contract administration obtained by Matthew have set the foundation for the establishment of what is today Roar Fire Inspection & Testing.
As the Service Operations Manager for the company, Matthew oversees all Inspection and Testing maintenance, along with all services associated with site compliance and Minor Works. Matthew remains hands on in his role as Service Operations Manager with direct involvement with estimating and client liaison.
James has 4 years of experience in the Fire Protection Industry. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management, James began his career in the industry as a trainee before becoming Fire Systems Designer focusing on minor works and minor construction projects. In doing so, James has developed a sound knowledge of the Australian Standards for Wet Fire Systems along and essential experience in hydraulic calculations using Hyena and developing design documentation using AutoCAD.
More recently James has moved into Project Management where he has successfully facilitated the design and construction of several projects of high regard ranging from major fit outs to warehouse sprinkler installations and data centre gas suppression systems.
As the Project Manager at Roar Fire Systems Victoria, James oversees the projects from their inception to handover including facilitating the design phase, managing employees and subcontractors as well as managing clients to deliver projects in a timely manner to a high standard.
Noelene is an expert in all areas of administration and has extensive experience within small and large organisations managing payroll, credit control, accounts receivable and payable, bookkeeping and finance. With a hands on approach to her work, Noelene leads the administrative team at Roar Fire in all facets of administration and customer service.
